Couch to 5K

Running Bear’s “Couch to 5K” is a fantastic way to start running – whatever your motivation.

Our 6 week programme will take you from complete beginner (no running) to running 5K and a Parkrun, and a whole new life!!

The hardest part of any journey is the first step – take it!

Join our friendly and supportive free six week course, starting Wednesday the 26th of June, at either 10am or 6pm. Meet at this time, outside the Running Bear shop to start the session 5 minutes later.

The sessions will be lead and supported by myself, Geoff Pettengell (England Athletics qualified Run Leader) with many years running experience and I will be there to support you on your journey.

We will celebrate your success after your first full 5K run with a special Running Bear Certificate and a Running Bear Goody Bag!

Faster 5K Session

This workout is for more experienced runners who can run at least a sub 35 minute 5K and wish to get their time down to 20 minutes something…

The session will be lead by a highly qualified and experienced England Athletics coach.
