The Hoka women’s Carbon X 3 is a neutral road running shoe, reworked with a performance knit upper and an aggressive Meta-Rocker. This endurance racer ensures a secure fit and allows you to unlock propulsive speed, with the responsive carbon fibre plate that will keep you energised and moving fast on race day.
The Jacquard engineered mesh and knit upper is constructed with a recycled, vegan yarn mesh offering a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility, whilst remaining highly breathable. A gusseted tongue provides you with a lightweight mid-foot lockdown ensuring that your feet remain in place. Cushioning around the ankle keeps you comfortable providing you with cushioning whilst you’re on the go and an extended heel pull tab has been designed for further comfort. Lastly, the upper has been constructed using recycled content in the double-engineered mesh and recycled polyester laces.
The Carbon X 3’s carbon fibre midsole has been designed using many midsole densities, the Carbon X 3 ensures cushioning, comfort and most of all propulsion. The Profly midsole cushions the tread and offers a more resounding boost along with a propulsive experience by protecting you during a heel strike and propelling you forward for a firm toe-off. A softer density has been used on the top to increase underfoot comfort and provide the perfect amount of resilience and response. Additionally, a super light bottom layer works to increase energy return and ground contact so you can go further for longer with peace of mind that your footwear can take you anywhere.
A flexible and durable outsole completes the Carbon X 3. Rubberised foam is used to enhance responsiveness, increase traction and ensure high rebound cushioning. The foam outsole ensures lightweight responsiveness so you can go further for longer making this a shoe you can truly rely on. The durable rubber outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrain over a long time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position.
